Hiretech Run Raises Cash For Kids

As a patron sponsor for the event, Hiretech was encouraged to enter a team of staff to compete in the Inverurie race, which made its welcome return as a live event on Sunday 15 May 2022 after a two year hiatus due to Covid.

Team members Andy Buchan, Darragh Wylie, Evan Pirie, Lucy Bremner, Nicola Wilson, Keith Mackie, Samantha Mitchell, Kailee Robinson, Jim Bicocchi and Elaine Fraser took on the challenge.

Training paid off for the team who all completed the race in good times, with some personal best times being achieved on the day.

The team raised £730 through donations and sponsorship in lieu of their efforts, which was donated to support local charity Northsound Cash for Kids.

The money will help Cash for Kids to improve the lives of disadvantaged children across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs.
